About MyCalcHub

Canada's free calculator hub — built by a real Canadian business owner.

👋 Who Is Behind MyCalcHub?

MyCalcHub was created by a digital creator and entrepreneur based in Kitchener, Ontario. The Founder brings 11 years of running a pizza restaurant and 5 years in the vending machine business in Ontario — real-world experience that made it clear how confusing Canadian financial numbers can be for everyday people.

From HST calculations to payroll to land transfer taxes — every tool on this site was built to solve a real problem that came up in day-to-day business and life in Canada.

🎯 Our Mission

We built 40+ Calculators and 40+ Blog Guides specifically for Canadians — covering everything from mortgage stress tests to TFSA room to Ontario land transfer tax and the new capital gains inclusion rate changes.

No American numbers. No generic advice. Just real Canadian tools that work for real Canadian situations. Always free, no sign-up required.

📺 YouTube Channel

The MyCalcHub team also runs a YouTube channel — Money Mastery — focused on Canadian personal finance and real-world business insights. Our goal is to give Canadians the financial clarity that used to require an accountant, for free and in plain language.

📍 Proudly Based in Kitchener, Ontario

Being Ontario-based means we understand the local nuances that generic calculators miss — provincial tax rates, CMHC rules, Ontario land transfer tax, and more. All calculators are reviewed and updated when Canadian tax laws change.

✅ How We Keep Our Calculators Accurate

Every financial calculator on MyCalcHub is built using the official figures published by the Canada Revenue Agency, the Bank of Canada, and the relevant provincial governments. We do not copy numbers from other calculator websites — we go to the primary source for each rate, threshold, and contribution limit.

When Canadian tax law changes — such as the federal basic personal amount, CPP and EI maximums, TFSA and RRSP contribution room, or provincial tax brackets — we update the affected calculators and clearly note the tax year the figures apply to. Our calculators currently reflect the 2026 tax year, including the federal basic personal amount of $16,452, the lowered 14% lowest federal tax rate, the CPP maximum pensionable earnings of $74,600, and the EI maximum insurable earnings of $68,900.

That said, every tool on this site is provided for general information and educational purposes only. Tax situations vary, and our calculators are not a substitute for personalised advice from a licensed accountant, mortgage broker, or financial advisor. We always recommend confirming important financial decisions with a qualified professional.

🇨🇦 Why a Canadian-Specific Calculator Hub Matters

Most calculators online are built for American users — they assume US tax brackets, 401(k) accounts, and dollar amounts that simply do not apply north of the border. A Canadian searching for their real take-home pay, RRSP room, or land transfer tax ends up with answers that are off by thousands of dollars.

MyCalcHub exists to close that gap. Whether you are figuring out HST on an invoice, comparing renting versus buying in the Greater Toronto Area, planning your TFSA contributions, or estimating your Ontario land transfer tax on a first home, every tool is tuned to the rules that actually apply to Canadians — province by province, year by year.
